Iowa has lost five of seven, but the last three games have been particularly ugly.

In losing to Minnesota, Michigan and Purdue, the Hawkeyes have totaled 151 points, an average of 50.3. Even worse, the team has committed 54 turnovers.

Iowa (11-7) had a three-game stretch that produced 147 points in the 1983-84 season, but before that, you have to go back to 1948-49 to see such a scoring drought. In that season, the Hawkeyes had four consecutive games in the 40s. Back then, there was no shot clock or three-point line.
