At least Colorado was able to push Montana State to overtime. But seriously, what is a team from the Big 12 doing losing to a team from the Big Sky?
Neill Woelk of the Boulder Daily Camera writes: "The Buffs couldn't shoot, they did not play good defense and they acted as if they were allergic to rebounds. Other than those minor details, it was a reasonably good outing."
Get this: The Buffaloes are 1-6 all time against the Bobcats, with the only victory coming in 1924.
The good people of Boulder were just starting to forgot about the last time a Montana State team visited their city. That was 2006, when the Bobcat football team defeated the Buffaloes, 19-10, arguably the lowest point in team history. To make matters worse, Montana State played Division II Chadron State the following week and lost, 35-24.
