Williams is no stranger to salty language. Who can forget his interview with Bonnie Bernstein after Kansas lost to Syracuse in the 2003 NCAA title game.
Yes, he had a room full of players who were hurting after the loss, and they were hurting even more when he left for North Carolina. Wayne Simien, who suffered a shoulder injury during Williams' final season at Lawrence, was perhaps the angriest. "I gave my right arm for that man," he said.
