Korie Lucious and Michigan State have something to look forward to next season. The Spartans are likely to start the season near the top of the polls.
Rick Bozich of the Louisville Courier-Journal complied the results from six projected top 25s for the 2009-10 season, assigning 10 points for a first-place vote, nine for a second and so on
Here's the results: 1. Michigan State; 2. Kansas; 3. North Carolina; 4. Purdue; 5. Villanova; 6. Syracuse; 7. Duke; 8 Wake Forest; 9. Connecticut; 10. Kentucky.
Only Kansas, Michigan State, North Carolina and Purdue were listed on every ballot.
Plenty of shakeout still to come as players decide to return to school or take a shot at the NBA.
